What does design mean to you?
Design is about returning to the core of living. It’s about creating spaces where people can feel connected to themselves and their surroundings. A true home isn’t just a place to physically exist; it’s a space that nourishes the mind and soul. The ultimate comfort comes from a sense of freedom that feels natural and effortless.
What was your proudest project in 2025?
A residential unit in Kingswood Villas.

What drew you into design?
It all began when I stayed at a riverside forest villa hotel. The building didn’t feel constructed; it felt like it belonged there, like a smooth stone placed gently on the riverbank by time and water. Inside, it wasn’t silent, but the sounds were calming. I could hear the soft murmur of the stream and the rustling of leaves in the wind. The space seemed to absorb these natural sounds and transform them into a steady, soothing rhythm.
The designer avoided sharp edges and clean geometric cuts, opting instead for shapes that felt organic and soft. Afternoon sunlight filtered through layers of branches and large windows, creating fuzzy halos of light that slowly shifted across the floor. It felt like the room was breathing, wrapped in a warm, golden glow reminiscent of twilight.
In that space, I wasn’t someone burdened by tasks or responsibilities. I was just present, existing with my breath, the flow of water, and the slow movement of light. That space gave me the gift of stillness and healing. When I left, I took with me a recalibrated sense of peace, not just memories. It showed me that a home could be a sanctuary, a place of restoration. That experience shaped the way I approach design, and I strive to bring that same feeling into every project.
