Design is the pursuit of a way of life. Design offers beauty and emotional connection through the visual. Beautiful design elevates users sense of joy and creates emotional resonance. Design allows users to experience its functionality and practicality. Excellent design must be feature- rich and easy to use, while aesthetics is equally essential. The essence of design lies in optimizing human experience, making life more comfortable and better, elevating quality of life.
What was your proudest project in 2025?
My proudest project is Hillsborough Court in Mid-Levels. We learned that the husband wanted to redesign their old home as a gift for their golden wedding anniversary. Through this, I felt his deep commitment to family and his understanding of his wife, her style preferences, lifestyle habits, and all the details that matter. Creating a space to commemorate half a century of marriage is absolutely one of our most meaningful works.
Whats your design philosophy?
Lam: Its rare to find work thats both your passion and your calling. Ive found that, but if I had to choose something else, it would be architecture.
Wong: Lifes funny that way. If I could do it all again, Id probably go into finance.
