What does design mean to you?
The meaning of design to me is about creating something that had not existed before, it is based on certain requirements or brief. The designer expresses her values and her interpretation of aesthetics in the process and really giving a piece of herself into the work. Design is highly individual, no two are alike. The design process is a serious pursuit, it involves questioning the norm, pushing boundaries, trying out new concepts, bringing imagination to fruition. In our projects, nothing is random, we place great emphasis on axis, proportions, scale, balance and rigorously working out the details using architectural elements of lighting, materials, pattern and colours.

What was your proudest project in 2025?
The project we were most proud of was the new 4,000 square feet library at Maryknoll Convent School (Primary Section), my alma mater. The school celebrated its 100th anniversary this year and is a Declared Monument by the Antiquities and Monuments Office. That added complexity and restrictions to the interior design, but we were glad that we succeeded in creating an elegant, fun and functional space where the students can learn, explore, contemplate and collaborate.

What do you do in your free time?
In my spare time, I like to be in nature, taking a walk by the sea, or hiking in the mountains, these are my favourite moments.
