What does design mean to you?
Design has a life of its own. As I connect with different clients and understand their varying needs, each project produces completely different results. Its this constant evolution that fascinates me. I love rising to challenges, solving problems one after another, and continuously innovating. Thats what makes my design career so rich and fulfilling.

What was your proudest project in 2025?
Last year Ive had the opportunity to work on more projects in mainland China. The spaces there are typically larger, which gives me much more room to play with and create a real sense of spaciousness. The biggest challenge? Dealing with the inevitable beams and columns. When youre working with larger spaces, youre bound to encounter multiple structural elements that can really impact the design. How to resolve this became the projects greatest challenge. In the end, we used a decorative approach, transforming what would normally be the most visually disruptive column structures into standout features. This is my most satisfying work this year.

If you hadnt become an interior designer, what do you think youd be doing?
My biggest interests as a child were drawing and cooking. If I wasnt doing interior design, Id probably be a chef. I love being able to handle every step of the process myself, taking responsibility for the good and the bad. I also really enjoy experimenting with new dishes, things nobodys done before. I always want to try them. The whole process gives you results so quickly, and theres such a sense of accomplishment in that.
