Founded by Samantha Soo in 2017, studiossoo is a Hong Kong interior design practice renowned for its refined use of materials and textures, creating authentic and distinctive experiences for every space. From brand ethos and local culture to client vision, studiossoo delves deep into a projects roots and context, ensuring design transcends visual presentation to become a spatial narrative that touches hearts and forges emotional connections with users.

What was your proudest project in 2025? My proudest project of 2025 is the AP House K11 Extension at K11. This project embodies our vision of seamless integration celebrating Audemars Piguets heritage and Hong Kongs stunning landscape.

How do you keep your creativity alive? As the founder and creative director of Studiossoo, I recognise that keeping creativity alive is essential for personal growth and the growth of the studio. One of my primary strategies is to continue learning, exploring and experimenting. From traveling to reading diverse topics – from art and design to meditation and sports – stimulates fresh ideas. This ensures my creative toolbox is always expanding. I find that diverse inspiration is integral to gaining a creative edge. Spending time in nature and not only in the studio. Exploring new cultures provides insights and fresh perspectives that can influence my work.

How does your design work reflect your MBTI? My design work at Studiossoo is shaped by my focus on the future through innovation. This means I focus on creativity, collaboration, and forward thinking. We as a team prioritize innovation by exploring new materials and techniques. Collaboration is crucial, I work closely with my clients and teams to gather different perspectives, making our designs more meaningful. User experience is also very important to us to ensure that our designs are not only visually appealing but also functional.
