Starz Pasha is a design studio specialising in highly customised residential and commercial interior spaces across Hong Kong and the surrounding regions. Founded by Maggie Mo and Jay Leung, the firm focuses on enhancing clients’ quality of living by utilising the use of light, material, and space planning.
What does design mean to you?
Mo: For me, design is about taking something ordinary and bringing it to life, making it interesting, giving it a story. Its not just about how things look, but about creating moments that make people feel something, that resonate with how they actually live. When design works, it reconnects people with their own curiosity and passion for everyday life.

What was your proudest project in 2025?
Mo: The project Im most proud of is a private residence in Nanshan, Shenzhen. The client has loved Baccarat crystal chandeliers since childhood, so I knew the design had to honor the distinctive character of this centuries-old brand. I blended Chinese and French design influences, incorporating carefully selected French plaster moldings throughout the space to create an elegant atmosphere. I also considered each family members needs. For instance, in the childrens room, I added playful touches like painting a three-point line on the floor so the kids could practice basketball shots right in their room. I wanted the design to reflect each persons lifestyle, making the entire home feel alive with personality.
Leung: It would be the flagship showrooms I created for Pagani and De Tomaso. These projects translate brand soul into immersive experiences, which makes me incredibly proud. But what touches me most is the IP character “Little Pi” I created for my daughter, who was born blind in her right eye. The characters asymmetric eye design embodies “Perfect Imperfection,” celebrating how so-called flaws can radiate unique beauty.
