Here, we spotlight 10 leading Hong Kong interior design studios, offering an inside look into the compelling philosophies driving these industry trailblazers.
1. SLD
With over four decades in the design world, Steve Leungs name has become synonymous with excellence in Asia design circles. His understanding of design has evolved beyond pure aesthetics into a life philosophy. Recently, he collaborated with Hong Kong brand Tai Ping Carpets on “The Earth Collection,” turning his gaze back to soil and natural landscapes, seeking the ideal balance between artistry and practicality.
2. Joyce Wang Studio
Joyce Wang is the founder and principal of Joyce Wang Studio, a distinguished interior design firm recognised for numerous prestigious undertakings such as Mott 32, AMMO, the Flint, and The Magistracy. Based in both Hong Kong and London, the Studio boasts a dynamic team of international professionals, each contributing unique cultural insights and creative abilities who imbue every project with a universal global spirit and unique flair.
3. André Fu Studio
André Fu, founder of André Fu Studio and André Fu Living, is the go-to designer for luxury hotels such as the Upper House in Hong Kong, renowned for blending Eastern and Western influences. The University of Cambridge-educated designer has had another stellar year, launching several projects and furniture lines, including the much-anticipated Capella Taiwan.
4. Snøhetta
Richard Wood, Managing Director Asia of Snøhetta, leads the Norwegian architectural firms operations in the region. 2025 marked a strong year for the firm, with the opening of a new ground-floor office in Hong Kong, the launch of a new project in Thailand, and significant project wins in China.
5. AB Concept
Ed Ng and Terence Ngan are the co-founders of AB Concept, a Hong Kong-based design studio established in 1999. Renowned for their narrative-driven approach, the duo has created interiors for some of the world’s most iconic hospitality spaces, including Argo at Four Seasons Hong Kong, the spa at Mandarin Oriental Singapore, and Paper Moon Giardino in Milan.
6. LAAB Architects
LAAB Architects has shaped some of Hong Kongs most recognisable public spaces, from K11 MUSEA and Phillips Asia Headquarters to Victoria Dockside and the newly opened Longbridge Café in Tsim Sha Tsui. As coffee aficionados themselves, the founders operate a ground-floor café adjoining their studio headquarters, which has become a meeting point for discerning locals and creative minds alike.
7. CCD/Cheng Chung Design
Design luminary Joe Cheng founded CCD/Cheng Chung Design in Hong Kong in 1994. Since then, the studio has undergone rapid growth, establishing offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai, Melbourne, London, and beyond. Last year, CCD relocated to a rooftop duplex in Wan Chai, a key milestone in its broader Asian expansion strategy following the launch of its Tokyo office in June.
8. HBA Hong Kong
Mathew Lui, partner at HBA Hong Kong, is known for blending Western and Asian designs with carefully curated historic elements. The Hong Kong native draws on his extensive experience across his Southeast Asia and international travels to create luxurious contemporary interiors for the hospitality industry. 2025 was a stellar year for Lui with the launch of Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, among many other projects.

Frank Leung, founder of multidisciplinary design studio via., is recognised as one of Asias most influential creatives spanning both the architectural and interior design scene. 2025 marked a significant year for the veteran architect with his inaugural photo exhibition, new work for Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, Club Cascade at La Montagne, S22 commercial space, and many more.
10. NC Design + Architecture
Nelson Chow, founder of NC Design + Architecture, is the go-to designer for high-end residences, renowned for his use of organic shapes and sculptural forms. This year was especially significant for him, with the Chapel House project in Hong Kong winning multiple awards and the KL Club earning world-wide recognition.
