Her “Gardenia” project perfectly illustrates this approach. Drawing inspiration from boutique hotels, she merged Scandinavian simplicity with Japanese wabi-sabi to create a space that feels like a permanent vacation. But its not all aesthetics—the living room features cleverly concealed storage built into display units and beneath custom sofas, proving beautiful design can also be brilliantly practical.

In 2025, Jasmine Wong and Kits Chan founded Anode Design—”an ode to living.” Its a fitting name for a studio that treats every project like poetry in three dimensions.

Jasmine sees design as creating the container for life to unfold. Function is the skeleton, sure, but experience is the soul. Before she sketches a single line, she sits down with clients to understand their rhythms, their rituals, what makes them feel at home. Only then can she create something meaningful.

Her “Curved Harmony Apartment” showcases this philosophy beautifully. Using materials like GRG, micro-cement, and textured paints, she introduced flowing curves throughout—in walls, in furniture, everywhere. Soft creams and natural woods create warmth. Its not just a well-designed space; its a space designed for its specific inhabitants.
