Milan Design Week 2026 once again took centre stage as a global platform for design innovation. In the heart of the Brera Design District, Swiss luxury appliance brand V-ZUG unveiled an immersive showcase that blurred the lines between technology, design, and sensory experience.

Teaming up with renowned Italian architect and designer Elisa Ossino, V-ZUG presented “Table Rituals” at V-ZUG Studio Milano — marking their fifth collaboration at Milan Design Week — an installation that explores the interplay between space, objects, and human interaction. The exhibition also marked the global debut of the CookTop V6000 Integra, an invisible induction hob that reflects the brand’s vision of placing life at the forefront while technology quietly recedes.

Elevating everyday moments

Conceived by Elisa Ossino, “Table Rituals” delves into the emotional resonance between people and their everyday environments. Known for her refined geometric language and sensitive use of materials, Ossino transforms simple acts such as cooking and sharing into contemplative, almost ceremonial experiences.

Her “less is more” approach strips away visual noise, allowing technology to fade into the background and human presence to take centre stage. The installation creates a serene, thoughtfully composed setting where the beauty of everyday rituals can be rediscovered.

A new definition of the kitchen

At the core of the presentation is the CookTop V6000 Integra, a pioneering invisible induction system that challenges conventional appliance design. Developed with Inalco, the surface is made from high-performance MDi (Minerals, Design, Innovation), combining durability, resistance to thermal shock, and a softly tactile finish that reads as a seamless architectural surface.

The cooking zones are fully integrated beneath the mineral slab, allowing the surface to function as both a preparation area and a social space when not in use. This fluid transition between functions supports a more open, connected living environment.

When in operation, delicate LED indicators appear across the surface, complemented by finely engineered physical controls that offer a precise and intuitive user experience.

A Dialogue of Light, Space and Form

In addition to its flagship launch, V-ZUG introduced the CookTop V6000 FullFlex in a new Pearl finish, offering complete flexibility in cookware placement while lending a warm, architectural tone to contemporary kitchens.

The brand also took part in “Sensory Landscape” at Palazzo Bovara, curated by Piero Lissoni. Within the installation’s restaurant setting, V-ZUG’s appliances interact subtly with light and shadow, expressing the idea of “Visual Silence” through a restrained yet sophisticated spatial dialogue.
