Hermès upcycles straight from its workshops
Imagination takes flight in Hermès’ Petit H collection, in which the luxury house’s skilled craftsmen contemplate new use for forgotten scraps left behind in the workshop. Leather straps, silk, cashmere, and other materials are reimagined and upcycled, and emerge as whimsical objects. The brainchild of artistic director Pascale Mussard, Petit H harnesses the creativity and and cutting-edge techniques of its artisans to create limited-edition pieces worth collecting.
Bespoke bathrooms
Axor enhances its premium offering with Axor FinishPlus Surfaces, consisting of 15 exclusive surfaces from a shiny gold to a matt black chrome with a special coating that makes each finish more resistant to scratches and cleaning agents. Taking the notion of bespoke luxury to the next level, the brand has also launched its Axor Signature service, allowing clients to fully customise their chosen range of Axor products depending on their preferences, including even the option to inscribe their initials.
Say farewell to unsightly cables
Tom Dixon’s collaboration with Los Angeles-based tech accessory maker Native Union has produced a line of premium aluminium and stainless steel charging stations and cables available in sophisticated brushed silver and black hues. Good-looking yet utterly performance-centric, the Stash collection combines precision engineering with Tom Dixon’s effortless cool.
Pillow talk made stylish
Perhaps better-known for sumptuous couture creations than for home décor, the fashion designer Christian Lacroix brings an elegant touch to his eponymous lifestyle brand of stationery, notebooks, textiles, and other accessories. His winter collection of statement throw pillows features exuberant designs and rich colors printed on silk, linen, or cotton satin.
