Lucia Tait Tolani has a carefully honed approach to fashion and, unsurprisingly, it’s an outlook that extends to her home. Your style certainly shouldn’t stop at your doorstep,” says Lucia, who lives in Kowloon with her husband. If you’re going out in fabulous outfits you love, you should be coming home and being just as inspired by the things around you.”
The trick, says Lucia, is to edit – and this applies to the home as much as it does to the wardrobe. You can’t be afraid to let things go. Only keep things if they’re sentimental – if you wore it somewhere special, if it was passed down from your mother, if it’s vintage or if it’s one of a kind. That’s part of the fun: searching out new things and putting them together in your own way.”
