Liquid Interiors crafts a 1,800-sq.ft. Mid-levels apartments for the homeowners to showcase their dazzling artwork collection and unite friends and family in a calm, serene environment.
Natural materials such as rattan, potted plants and stone patterns in the decor mimic a verdant, lush forest, while clean lines define the modernity of the home. Wellness and sustainability are abundant. To bring the outside in, the Liquid Interiors team connects the balcony to the living room, infusing a biophilic design that imbues a sense of calmness to the sanctuary.
The likes of bi-folding doors and open windows link up the outdoor and indoor spaces, promoting good air flow. Though the building puts the residents in close proximity with each other, the team integrates bamboo roller blinds on the terrace to ensure privacy and peace of mind.
Many of the used materials are sustainable and eco-friendly, including the rattan accents in the chairs and decorative overhead lights. The team also reuses elements before the renovation, such as the reddish-brown oak floors, sanded to their original colour to complement the light atmosphere.
The lighting syncs to the residents’ circadian rhythms. Whether they are working from home or relaxing by the fireplace, the lighting colour temperature adjusts to suit their daily activities and create just the right mood for each occasion.
