Held by the Hong Kong Designers Association, the BDA Brand Award 2025 is prestigious award honouring brands leading in design. Highly regarded within the Hong Kong design community, the Award is recognised and respected by both trade and consumers across various sectors. Industry leaders evaluate and reward outstanding and innovative brands based on five criteria: Brand Image, Market Value, Sustainability, Tech & Innovation and User Experience. The BDA Brand Award 2025 is now open for applications, with submissions closing on 24 September 2024.
This year, participating brands from Hong Kong, mainland China and around the world will be competing for seven accolades: Best of the Best, Grand Award of the Year, Best Brand Image Award, Best Innovation Brand Award, Best Market Value Brand Award, Best Sustainability Brand Award and Best User Experience Brand Award.
Past award-winning brands include Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, Lee Kum Kee, Ralph Lauren, B. Duck, KPMG, Bowtie, Sandbox, Bottle of Bread by Maxim’s, K11 MUSEA and Sino Group — each and everyone has stood the test of time.
BDA brings significant promotional benefits to brands. BDA also strengthens brand image and enhances market value, as witnessed by Cecilia Yim, Chief Market Strategy Officer at Chow Sang Sang x V&A Londoner Macau. She remarked: “We are delighted to be awarded at BDA 2024. This honour not only highlights the niche and market value of the Chow Sang Sang brand but also motivates us to further brand development across various design fields based on concepts of aesthetics, innovation and sustainability. We aim to build an enduring and timeless brand culture.”
The award categories of the BDA Brand Award 2025 encompass various industries, spanning different sectors such as "Design and Architecture," "Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment," "Gifts, Household and Electronic Products," as well as "Property Developer and Management" and “Food and Beverage.”
BDA 2025 final round judges include: Hilda Chan (Head of Marketing, Marketing Division, HKSTP), Donald Choi (CEO of the Chinachem Group), Mui Kinoshita (Chairman of The Hong Kong Designers Association), Doris Luey (Co-founder and Directory of Caring for Children Foundation and Healthy Hong Kong) and Erich Wong (Head of Growth for The Sandbox Hong Kong)
BDA has long been recognised and supported by major enterprises, industry organisations, and hundreds of esteemed brands. The deadline for award submission is 24 September 2024.
