Dramatic glass drapings
Nendo founder Oki Sato
Melt, a striking collection of molten glass furniture designed by nendo, the Japanese studio founded by Oki Sato, will be showcased at the upcoming Salone del Mobile in Milan. First presented by WonderGlass at international furniture and interiors fair IMM Cologne, the pieces are formed by letting gravity do its work – resulting in draped glass forms including a chair with a U-shaped base, and slabs of glass on top and behind.

Famed for his obsession with heavenly flowers, Belgian artist François Olislaeger is showcasing his series of delicately depicted florals in Hong Kong for the first time at K11’s agnès b. Galerie Boutique until June 30. The project, Une Fleur par Jour (A Flower a Day), brings the vulnerable beauty of emerging blossoms to life through a gentle use of watercolours.
