The annual Home Journal Awards, a highlight of the interior design scene, returns for another exciting year. This time, we are honouring creativity across over 30 categories, including an exciting new addition for green design. We are thrilled to invite interior design and architectural firms from all sectors to register and join us.
Outstanding interior design and architectural works deserve to be celebrated, extensively reported, and recognised by various sectors. With this in mind, the Home Journal Awards 2024 includes over 30 design categories, such as residential units, bathrooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, bars and restaurants, cafés, offices, retail stores and more. Each category will present gold, silver, bronze, and merit awards, determined by a panel of professional judges. Companies from Asia are welcome to submit multiple entries.
This year's judging panel features a distinguished group of leading interior designers and architects, listed as follows:
- LAAB Architects Design Director Otto Ng and Architecture Director Chun Hang Yip
- Founder of Cheng Chung Design (CCD), Joe Cheng
- Founder of Michael Young Studio, Michael Young
- Executive Vice President of RDAI, Denis Montel, and Chief Executive Officer, Julia Capp
- Partner at Conran and Partners, Tina Norden
- Managing Editor of Home Journal, Jennifer Chan
The Home Journal Awards 2024 has added a new category, "Green Design," judged by environmental experts based on six criteria, including material and waste management, health and comfort, energy use, innovation, water usage, and comprehensive design and construction management. One of the judges, Tony Ip Chung-man, is the founder of Tony Ip Green Architects Limited and a board member at CIC–Zero Carbon Park.
To boost the visibility and promotional advantages for the winning companies, all award recipients will receive an electronic certificate and trophy, courtesy of Home Journal, along with:
