To create a home sweet home, Fun Design Studio has crafted the spaces solely from the users’ perspective. The simple and minimalistic design allows natural light in to illuminate every nook and cranny. In turn, the rich layers and diverse details are reflected in the changes of light and shadow across the spaces.
Aimed to bring an understated style to the dwelling, the design team intentionally reduces the use of colours, and opts for natural paint and wood grain to inject a warm accent. The suspended grey TV wall echoes the island, the asymmetrical sloped ceiling giving the square layout a more dazzling visual effect, while also expanding the ceiling height visually.
Ascending the elegant but pared-down terrazzo stairs to the second floor, the multifunctional lounge surrounded by shutters boasts the most dramatic view. One can occasionally read in solitude indoors, or spread open the sliding doors and immerse in the verdant greenery of the outdoor terrace.
