French luxury furniture brand Liaigre has stepped up its retail presence in Asia with the launch of its first showroom in the prestigious area of Admiralty, Hong Kong.
Located at Two Pacific Place – a premier commercial tower connected to Pacific Place Mall and high-end hotels in Admiralty – the 2,436-square-foot showroom is home to a sophisticated mix of Liaigre furniture spanning table lamp, armchair, console and sofa, which are showcased in tastefully curated home design settings.
The Hong Kong showroom adds to the brand’s growing presence in Asia, which includes operating showrooms in Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and lately Shanghai, as the brand continues on a strong growth track. Each showroom bears a specific identity, anchored in the local culture and geographical environment of the city where it is located.
Founded in the ‘80s by late French design veteran Christian Liaigre, the creative mind behind the homes of Calvin Klein and Karl Lagerfeld, Liaigre is renowned for its clean-lined and elegant furniture that celebrates traditional French craftsmanship. Today, the studio is led by CEO Christophe Caillaud, with Frauke Meyer being the creative director, who was headhunted by Liaigre himself in 1998.
Apart from furniture manufacturing, Liaigre is also associated with ultra-luxury projects around the world — from yachting and architectural projects, to lighting, furniture, accessories, decoration and styling.
