Kelly Hoppen, the acclaimed interior designer, lent her creative touch to a residential project in Zhuhai, China. The surrounding outdoor landscape boasts an enchanting beauty, while the interior exudes a cosy and welcoming ambiance.
Drawing inspiration from Chinese art and design, the Kelly Hoppen Interiors team integrated the breathtaking Jiuzhou Bay scenery into the space. Every detail showcases impeccable craftsmanship, with the walls and floors boasting textures that accentuate the space's distinctiveness.
Upon reaching the residential building, an elegant pathway guides visitors from the lobby to the elevator. The elevator's design incorporates graceful curves, evoking a welcoming and cosy ambiance.
Kelly Hoppen's design for the area utilises local artworks abundantly, fostering a cultural and artistic environment. The living room acts as a communal space for socialising and entertainment. The ceiling showcases curved elements that draw inspiration from the picturesque Jiuzhou Bay landscape.
When it comes to choosing furniture, great importance is given to both aesthetics and comfort, with the goal of crafting a tranquil and cosy living area. The interior hardware decoration skillfully merges diverse textures and colours of materials, resulting in a visually enchanting environment and a serene atmosphere that does not impede the enjoyment of the breathtaking sea view beyond.
The kitchen, which showcases exquisite materials like travertine and ribbed wood, boasts a breathtaking ocean view that can be enjoyed through the floor-to-ceiling glass.
In the bedroom, the headboard blends elegant curves and intricate layers like a sculptural masterpiece. The combination of stone and natural wood in the room creates a striking contrast against the backdrop of deep black, giving rise to a minimalist yet rejuvenating aesthetic that feels both refined and invigorating.
The bathroom features stone materials, with a design that combines curved shapes and incorporates storage functionality.
Kelly Hoppen's design is unique, such as the combination of wall panelling and architectural elements. Details such as the meticulously crafted grey-brown wood veneer, the marble on the TV wall, and sculptural bed headboards and shelves make the space stand out from others.
