The combination of grey-blue and off-white hues in this 2,200 sq. ft. flat evokes a tranquil ambiance reminiscent of the sea and sky. Copper details and wooden materials add a touch of warmth and sophistication to the predominantly grey-blue and off-white design.
This home was created by merging two neighbouring units, resulting in a well-balanced layout and a spacious living area. Upon entering through the main door, you'll find a comfortable foyer with seating for changing shoes. On the left and right sides of the foyer are the kitchen and helper’s room.
Entering through the archway leads you to arrive at the heart of the home, the living room. An oval dining table paired with black armchairs takes centre stage, while glass pendant lights resembling inverted wine glasses hang elegantly from the ceiling above the table. Against the wall sits a tall cabinet that functions as both a wine cellar and display cabinet. Illuminated from the inside, its soft glow adds to the romantic ambiance.
Epic Interior Design's team pointed out, "Taking into account the rather modest ceiling height of 8 feet, we chose a combination of plain white ceilings and walls complemented by light wood floors to create a visually expansive and uplifting effect in the space." Careful attention was given to the details, highlighting copper elements in the cabinet handles, legs, chair legs and wall lamps. This addition brought an elegant touch to the subtly toned space.
Furthermore, the living room, bedrooms, kitchen cabinets, and walls are adorned with intricate three-dimensional patterns, avoiding the monotony often linked to plain colours.
The master bedroom offers a panoramic harbour view, drawing one's gaze towards the sea. The room is decorated with soft and light colours, cushions placed on the window sill, crafting a leisurely ambiance.
The children's room cabinets are skillfully crafted with durable materials and complemented by soft hues, highlighting a sense of harmony and beauty.
The kitchen adopts a central island layout, making the cooking flow smooth and easy.
