Imagine strolling along the French Côte d'Azur; surrounded by the Alps, a gentle breeze blows on your face and you are bathing in the golden beams of the chip blue sky. How refreshing and joyous is it?
ANDYU Interior Design manages to bring this beauty into life. At this 1067-sq. ft. home in Hsinchu, Taiwan, the team applies soft blue as the main hue of the space, intertwined with calm and elegant gray and white, creating a cozy ambiance.
Once entered the space, one is greeted by the gray-blue lattice and varying oval shapes, which depict the azure coastline. Glass structure is adopted to compartmentalize the interiors, making the abode even more transparent and commodious, while also adding a splash of fun visual elements.
The shared space, combining the living room with the reading and work area, boasts a comfy and pleasant vibe. While the arc-shaped lines soften the atmosphere, the bright, soft natural lighting help illuminate the space, with the back of the wavy sofa separating the work area. Paired with an entire piece of flexible wooden slabs, it is as if you are staying amidst verdant mountain scenery.
On the side of the living room, the dining and kitchen space uses glass sliding doors as partitions, which not only retains the brightness of the space but also blocks out the cooking fumes. The family is able to mix and mingle in the space any time.
Entering the bedroom, the serene space with blue and white tones helps to soothe your mind and body. The other two rooms are set with bright yellow and green hues. Reminiscent of the blue coast in spring and summer and lush mountain scenery, the apartment is brimming with vitality. Going home every day is just like vacating in a faraway paradise.
