Viva Magenta lit up the world throughout 2023, but it’s this soft colour that will reign next year.
Turns out, Justin Bieber was onto something when he sang about peaches in Georgia. Pantone, the global provider of professional colour standards in the design community, has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024 Colour of the Year: Peach Fuzz, (13-1023). This velvety, gentle peach shade exudes warmth and elegance, encouraging individuals to connect with their inner selves. It evokes compassion and offers a comforting embrace.
With a contemporary twist on a vintage aesthetic, Peach Fuzz brings a subtle sophistication. Additionally, this colour selection marks the 25th anniversary of Pantone's renowned Colour of the Year program.
To celebrate the introduction of Peach Fuzz as the Color of the Year, Ruggable has created a special edition rug in this enchanting peach hue. The Limited Edition Pantone Peach Fuzz Neutral Grid Play Rug features a modern design inspired by linear gridded window frames. Delicate shifts in colour, reminiscent of reflections, are achieved through the harmonious merging of Pantone Peach Fuzz, Pantone Peach Puree, soft pink shades and cream lines against a neutral backdrop.
Spoonflower has also teamed up with Pantone to introduce an exclusive launch collection featuring the Color of the Year 2024. This special collection showcases unique designs from talented Spoonflower artists like Dani Dazey, Janine Lecour, and Holli Zollinger. You can now find these stunning designs on wallpapers, fabrics and various home decor items on its website.
