Design Is A Collaborative Process That Emphasises Discussion And Communication With Clients.
With over two decades of dedicated experience in interior design, Keith Choi recently established Mstudio alongside Marcus Ko, Jack, and Issac. The studio brings together professional designers from diverse design backgrounds. The founders believe in sincere communication and understanding, approaching each project from the client's perspective to uncover their genuine needs.
Could you describe your design philosophy, and how it came about?
For Mstudio, design is a collaborative process that emphasises discussion and communication with clients. We hope that each completed project is the final result of thorough discussions and a deep understanding of the client's needs.
Which project(s) are you most proud of this year?
The project I am most proud of is the North Point Kwong Chiu Terrace completed earlier this year, as it received appreciation from the client. This year, we also designed two additional units for the parents and older brother of the Kwong Chiu Terrace client.
What's your go-to spot that inspires you the most creatively?
Commercial design is the foundation of Mstudio. With over a decade of experience in various projects such as salons, restaurants, offices and retail shops, we particularly enjoy sparking our creativity in diverse public spaces and shopping malls.
What's next for your company?
We hope for better prospects for Hong Kong in the coming year and look forward to highlighting our design strengths in a variety of new developments and commercial projects.
