Designed by The Unlisted Collective, the renovation focused on enhancing both functionality and aesthetics within the compact space. While the layout largely remained intact, significant improvements optimized the arrangement of the bathrooms, updated the finishes, and increased storage capacity.

Nestled in Woolloomooloo, a picturesque harbourside suburb of Sydney, this residence pays tribute to the area's industrial heritage with a striking raw timber beam that runs through the space, serving as a bold reminder of the wharf’s storied past.

One of the flat’s standout features is the eye-catching powder room and ensuite, featuring deep green textured tiles and a complementary fresco that break the monotony of dark finishes while adding a vibrant yet harmonious contrast. In the powder room, a gentle curve was incorporated to soften an existing sharp-edged bulkhead, creating a more inviting atmosphere.

Bespoke light fixtures, carefully selected to complement the loft's masculine finishes, illuminate the space with a stylish glow. Adding to the versatility of the space, a cleverly integrated hidden fold-down bed, nestled behind mirrored doors and designed within a banquette seat, offers a stylish solution for accommodating overnight guests without sacrificing precious living space.

A custom bench seat was designed to perfectly fit the width of the living and dining areas, seamlessly uniting the spaces and finishes. The striking Nero Marquina marble plinths, chosen for their dramatic dark veining, pair beautifully with ivory boucle upholstery, softening the overall aesthetic.
