Following a successful collaboration last year, Design Shanghai and Shanghai Xintiandi – the vibrant and unique complex known for its culture, contrasts and history – made a pact to celebrate a partnership for the next three years, beginning with the Design Shanghai @ Xintiandi Design Festival. Expanding out across the city, the free-to-public fair took place from March 6 to 19 in Xintiandi.

Following the theme of in future, the fair revealed 18 interactive installations by designers and artists from China and beyond, curated by Song Tao, Hou Zhengguang and Du Xinyue.
