The 1508 London-designed Mandarin Oriental Residences is Beverly Hills' first new condominium in over a decade and also the Mandarin Oriental Residences’ first standalone concept in the US.
As the firm's first project in the United States, international design studio 1508 London envisioned a serene and distinct biophilic design embracing elements of local nature, the Hollywood Hills, the neighbouring “Golden Triangle” and Beverly Hills' particular light to inform material and detail selections.
Organic forms are a signature detail weaving throughout the property: curved stone at the arrival portals, asymmetrically curved stone islands that mimic the curvature of the surrounding hills, and vein-matched curved stone corners on the vanities.
