A West London residential quarter with excellent transport link.
Acton, the large residential suburb in West London, is increasingly being favoured by home buyers thanks to its planned £26 billion transformation. Following the announcement of the 1,600-acre Park Royal regeneration site as part of a 30-year vision for a new cosmopolitan corner of London, Barratt London’s Western Circus is one of the first available developments to buy in Acton, slated for completion from February 2022.
The wider 1,600-acre regeneration master plan is the largest of its kind in the UK. By 2050, 40,000 new homes will be created, alongside a new high street, two major campuses for Imperial College and London’s only high-speed transport interchange where HS2 meets Crossrail. When Crossrail is completed in 2022, it will take only nine minutes to travel from Acton to Bond Street, 16 minutes to Liverpool Street, and 23 minutes to Canary Wharf.
Spread over six brand new blocks, a total of 365 new homes at Western Circus in one, two and three-bedroom configurations will be designed with the community in mind. Residents will be able to enjoy a cycle storage for 500 bikes and car club provisions, while the landscaped gardens will provide families with avenues to have plenty of outdoor fun.
Inside the residence, each apartment will have a balcony, terrace or winter garden, providing a light-filled open-plan living space finished with a contemporary design. They will also be geared with state-of-the-art appliances and floor-to-ceiling windows – ideal for working from home. Apartments on the upper floors, on the other hand, will enjoy panoramic views of West London and look across a pleasantly landscaped setting.
There are also sustainability initiatives within the neighbourhood, including solar panels on the tallest buildings to generate cleaner energy for the communal facilities, while a centralised combined heat and power facility will provide residents with an efficient supply of electricity.
