At Tri Vananda, wellness is more than just a trend; it’s a guiding principle.
Developed by Montara Hospitality Group in partnership with Swiss spa-clinic concept Clinique La Prairie, Tri Vananda is one of Phuket's latest luxury residential projects set to redefine luxury wellness living in Southeast Asia by 2025.
Spanning 237 acres of serene forests and lakes in Central Phuket, Tri Vananda blends seamlessly with its lush surroundings, with only 15% of the land used. When completed, the multigenerational community will offer around 70 biophilic-designed villas scattered across the expansive site, with cutting-edge medical and wellness facilities within easy reach. It will be an all-in-one community integrating medicine, cognitive health, and mindfulness, harnessing Clinique La Prairie’s expertise in science-driven care and personalized hospitality.
Villas that are already completed range from two-, three-, to four-bedroom configurations, all designed with a biophilic concept. The three-bedroom villa, for instance, is inspired by the Japanese aesthetics of Wabi-sabi (finding beauty in imperfection). It features an open-plan living and dining area, two spacious bedrooms, a multifunctional room, and a walk-in closet, all built around a quaint courtyard that ensures optimise airflow and ventilation. The color palette is kept minimal, with zero-VOC beige paints and wood veneer invoking a sense of tranquility while ensuring a healthy living space.
Outside, an elongated sundeck with an infinity pool is surrounded by greenery for maximum privacy, while expansive floor-to-ceiling windows in the public zone allow the view to take centre stage.
As Clinique La Prairie’s first venture in Asia, Tri Vananda combines medical testing with expert consultations and therapies. Facilities include a state-of-the-art medical cente,e an Olympic-size pool, and a wellness restaurant focused on personalised nutrition. The “Manorah” Grand Hall, inspired by traditional Thai dance, features a holistic wellbeing centre and mindfulness hub, adding cultural depth to the experience.
Meanwhile, the PRU JAMPA Community House offers a bar, lounge, swimming pool, and an Active Movement Center with Technogym's Biocircuit AI technology, promoting a wellness-focused lifestyle for all ages. There's also a club for pre-teens and teens.
Taking pride of place at the Community House is the Michelin Green Star-awarded restaurant JAMPA. Dedicated to sustainability, the restaurant, led by Chef Rick Dingen, features farm-to-table dishes using seasonal ingredients from its farm and local producers. A closed-loop system minimizes waste, supporting composting and pesticide-free farming to reduce CO2 emissions. The menu is refreshing, delivering health and freshness in every bite. Start with Flambadou Surat Thani Mussels arranged like a winter wonderland, along with tartelette and sweet corn, garden peas, king mackerel, farm egg and prawn, papaya. Mains include quail with bok choy, and cabbage with sesame, while desserts feature coconut, mango, tamarind, eggplant, and Phuket chocolate.
The concept of wellness real estate has been on the rise in recent years. It refers to homes that designed, built, and operated to support the holistic health and well-being of residents. A recent Global Wellness Institute report shows that wellness real estate is one of the fastest-growing sectors in wellness, predicted to grow from a USD 398 billion market in 2022 to USD 887.5 billion by 2027. “We recognize that there is a global stress epidemic at hand, and the negative effects it has on our individual health and well-being, and as a global community," Montara Hospitality Group CEO Kittisak Pattamasaevi concludes. "Tri Vananda will be a place for people of all ages to heal, grow, and learn.”
