Tam Jai International is rolling out its first-ever charitable NFT collection “Souper Hero” this June to usher its two F&B brands – TamJai Yunnan Mixian and TamJai SamGor Mixian – into The Sandbox metaverse.
The first launch of TamJai-themed avatars features familiar TamJai items beloved by fans. The “Souper Hero” is comprised of four series, each created by a local comic artist: Justin Wong, Kam Siu Man, Big Y, and Chow Siumou.
10,020 pieces of unique NFTs are to be minted. While they can be purchased by cryptocurrencies, the “Souper Hero” NFTs can also be traded simply through fiat money such as credit cards (Mastercard or Visa) on Artzioneer, the official marketplace of this project.
Owners of the NFTs are entitled to a range of privileges, such as a free bowl of noodles with two toppings, a complimentary VIP membership at either TamJai or SamGor, along with private events, bonus rewards and points.
All net proceeds from the “Souper Hero” project will go to the HKAC’s “Out of the Cube” project to support the local digital artist communities and foster digital art training and education in long run.
Meanwhile, Tam Jai is paving the way to building an “edutainment hub” in The Sandbox metaverse, where avatars and NFT items created by the community members will be showcased. It’s where Souper Hero NFT holders can convene, exchange insights, and participate in noodle-themed games.
