The highly anticipated Art Central will once again be held at Hong Kong's iconic harbourfront from March 28 to 31 for its largest edition to date.
Presented in partnership with UOB, Art Central will feature a diverse collection of artwork and programmes from some of Asia's most innovative galleries in Asia. Staged within an architect-designed temporary structure, the exhibiting galleries are complemented by a dynamic four-day programme that includes talks, performances, video art and large-scale installations.
As a platform dedicated to discovering emerging talents in the art world, Art Central will showcase works by emerging Asian artists and artists from around the world. This year, Art Central will feature over 90 participating galleries and is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors.
The event will introduce a new gallery section called "NEO", focusing on first-time exhibitors and artists making their debut. In addition to galleries, Art Central will also feature in-depth lectures, large-scale installations and performance art. The popular food zone will also make a return, bringing together collectors, art enthusiasts, and visitors to enjoy enticing cuisine, making it a social highlight of Hong Kong Art Week. Night Central, held on Thursday, March 28, aims to attract art enthusiasts and is a highly anticipated social event during Hong Kong Art Week.
