Milan Design Week 2025 wasn’t just about sleek furniture and Instagrammable lighting. This year, four coffee machine brands stole the spotlight, proving that coffee-making can be as stylish and innovative as any high-end sofa or chandelier. From moving trams to futuristic espresso bars, here’s how these caffeine pros turned heads and brewed up something unforgettable.
De’Longhi

Ever had coffee on a tram? De’Longhi transformed a moving tram into an immersive café during Milan Design Week. The De’Longhi Coffee Lounge featured workshops on latte art, mixology, and perfect coffee blends, all in an elegant setting curated by Saba. The journey didn’t stop there—exclusive stops across Milan’s Perfetto District invited guests to explore innovative coffee machines, brewing techniques, and installations blending art and design. De’Longhi also unveiled the Rivelia Limited Edition, a stunning collaboration with artist ScombinAnto that combined Italian craftsmanship with bold creativity. From tram to gallery, De’Longhi turned coffee into a true art form.
Lavazza

Lavazza celebrated its 130th anniversary at Milan Design Week 2025 with the Source of Pleasure installation, created in collaboration with Brazilian architect Juliana Lima Vasconcellos. At its heart was the unveiling of Tablì, an innovative system offering a groundbreaking "100% coffee" experience.
Tablì combines a cutting-edge machine with coffee tabs made entirely of pure coffee, delivering unmatched aroma, flavor, and sustainability. Housed in an 18-meter-wide immersive installation at Palazzo del Senato, visitors journeyed through a sensory experience blending tradition and innovation. From the fountain centerpiece to the Coffee Experience lounge, Lavazza redefined the future of single-serve coffee.
La Marzocco

La Marzocco brought the Modbar Espresso Atelier to Milan Design Week, featuring its ultra-sleek Modbar under-counter espresso machine. With its minimalist and functional design, the Modbar offers seamless integration into any space, allowing visionaries to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. By blending sleek aesthetics with exceptional performance, La Marzocco inspired attendees to reimagine coffee preparation as an art form, emphasizing flexibility and elegance in hospitality spaces.
Victoria Arduino

If there was a coffee machine that deserved its own red carpet, it’s the E1 Prima Special Edition from Victoria Arduino. Unveiled at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Piazza Cordusio, this machine was all about bold aesthetics and premium finishes—think vegan leather, textured surfaces, and raffia. The installation, dubbed The Design Blend, was a mashup of Art Deco glam and modern brutalism, complete with AI-powered animations and a limited-edition coffee table book.
