The landmark Asian fair is returning to prepandemic scale, with a huge slate of dealers, big-name artists and deep local representation.
The highly anticipated Art Basel is back, boasting a roster of 242 esteemed international galleries. This resurgence marks a significant milestone as the art event recaptures its pre-pandemic grandeur, welcoming an additional 65 exhibitors to the fair compared to 2023. Hailing from 40 countries and territories spanning Asia, Europe, North and Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, these galleries promise to showcase an exquisite array of artworks across diverse mediums and markets, ensuring a captivating visual experience for all attendees.
This year, the fair takes place 28-30 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. 25 new galleries will be participating in Art Basel, including Fitzpatrick Gallery (Paris), Waitingroom (Tokyo), PTT Space and Each Modern (Taipei), Public Gallery and Alison Jacques (London), Mangrove Gallery (Shenzhen), Chapter NY (New York) and more. Additionally, 69 galleries will be returning to the Asia fair after a hiatus.
