The Ming Pavilion restaurant in the Island Shangri-La was designed by Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Drawing inspiration from the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures in Hong Kong and the natural surroundings, he intentionally created a green space within the restaurant resembling the hotel. For example, custom-designed wallpaper features images of Hong Kong flowers, and design elements such as marble and wood carvings were incorporated to create a unique spatial atmosphere.
