It’s official: Homeless, a pioneering home and design brand from Hong Kong, has teamed up with selected labels from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland to open a lifestyle store completely dedicated to Scandinavian style. Dubbed The Nordic Room by Homeless, the store will open its doors to the public on August 24. Normann Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen, Hay, WOUD, Design House Stockholm and String are among the growing list of sought-after design names whose creations will be offered up at the 2,000sqft space.
We’re particularly looking forward to the latest Daily Fiction everyday objects collection from Normann Copenhagen, as well as living room pieces including the Form chair by Simon Legald and Swedish architect Nils Strinning’s signature String shelving wall.
While the best way to experience the store and its products would be to visit for yourself, for now here’s a sneak peek of small objects from the Daily Fiction collection:
29 Gough St, Sheung Wan; tel 2581 1880. Open Monday to Saturday 11:30am-9:30pm, Sunday and public holidays 12:00pm-6:00pm.
