Characterised by—but not limited to—minimalism and clean lines, Finnish design is more than pretty objects, but a way of living. The Scandinavian country’s unique perspective towards history and nature results in a distinctive aesthetic that has produced countless impressive creations. At the new pop-up shop Lifestyle Finland, you’ll be able to experience some of these pieces for yourself.
In a collaboration between Team Finland and Hong Kong design platform Match Showroom, a discerning edit of items from 10 Finnish brands will be on display at the shop, which runs through October 8 at PMQ. Our top picks include the colourful pieces from lifestyle and jewellery brand Aarikka; home textiles adorned with striking patterns from Kauniste; as well as wooden art and gift items from Lovi.
The shop will be running from September 10 to October 8 at PMQ, 35 Aberdeen St., Central; open 12pm to 8pm.
