The exclusive members-only club has announced plans to open its inaugural Japanese location in 2026. This new House will become the fourth Soho House property in Asia, joining the existing clubs in Mumbai, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
Soho House, the global membership club for creative individuals, has announced plans to open its first House in Japan in 2026. Soho House Tokyo will be situated in the vibrant Aoyama district, near the renowned Omotesando area, providing a space for members connected to or working in the creative industries to dine, socialise and attend unique events.
Soho House Tokyo will be the fourth Soho House location in Asia, following the openings of Soho House clubs in Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok over the past six years. Set in an area known for its independent boutiques, vibrant fashion district and art galleries, the new House will span four floors and offer members club spaces, a rooftop pool and terrace, 42 bedrooms and event venues. The interiors will blend the beauty of Japanese minimalist design with the warm and inviting aesthetic that characterises the Soho House brand.
Cities Without Houses (CWH) Japan is a membership that grants creative-minded individuals access to Soho Houses globally when they travel, as well as the opportunity to participate in special events locally in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and internationally. This membership enables creatives from around the world to forge meaningful connections with one another, even in cities without a physical Soho House presence.
With 43 Soho Houses located in creative hubs such as Paris, London, Berlin, New York and Los Angeles, CWH members have access to a wide range of amenities, including club spaces, bedrooms, gyms, wellness facilities, Cowshed spas and screening rooms.
