Apothéose, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Tokyo, seamlessly melds Japanese culinary heritage with Parisian sophistication through an earthy palette, envisioned by Danish design studio Space Copenhagen.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a bespoke sculptural host station leading to a welcoming lounge area. Here, sturdy oak tables and plush Loafer Chairs by &Tradition, upholstered in rich green Kvadrat Sacho fabric, invite relaxation. The warm terracotta tiles and natural-toned textiles create an organic ambiance, seamlessly connecting the space to a lush outdoor terrace.

A darkened brass-clad passageway, reminiscent of a refined wine cellar, leads to the restaurant's heart. A grand double door, adorned with intricate scalloped details, opens to reveal a vibrant open kitchen and breathtaking views of the Tokyo skyline.

The firm juxtaposes the panoramic cityscape with a warm and intimate dining atmosphere. Light filters through sheer fabric panels, casting an ethereal glow upon the minimalist interior. Darkened brass, chalky plaster, and light wood surfaces create a refined backdrop for Chef Kitamura's culinary creations.

Gleda dining chairs, designed by Space Copenhagen for Benchmark, surround custom-made white oak tables. Luxurious Dedar fabrics and supple grey Nuance leather from Sorensen adorn the seating, elevating the dining experience. A painting by Hideaki Yamanobe graces the lounge area, while a stone waiter's station anchors the kitchen, showcasing ceramics and seasonal accents.
