Vibe: Private and Personal

House of Madison is laid out like a home, with interiors by Norman Chan set out over three storeys. There are two open kitchens fitted out with state-of-the-art equipment from House of Madison’s top-quality brands, plus private dining rooms for up to 30 guests on the first floor, 32 on the second floor and 44 on the third floor. There is even a garden terrace with an outdoor grill and wine-tasting room. Each of these areas benefits from the built-in sound system, projectors, televisions, wireless microphones and more.

The Ocean

Vibe: Beachside Bliss

Unhindered sea views are part of the appeal at The Ocean—as is the sheer size of the space. The restaurant is spread over 10,000sqft at The Pulse and it looks directly onto Repulse Bay Beach. With walls made up of aquariums filled with floating jellyfish, The Ocean is one to go for if you’re looking to add a wow factor to your private party. The restaurant has three private rooms—two of them accommodate up to eight people each; the third can seat 12 guests. Bubble-like lights hang above the coral reef-inspired booths. With a focus on seafood, its chefs—Agustin Balbi is the executive chef and Yukio Kimijima is the Japanese sushi chef—can create whole menus for special occasions.

Hutong

Vibe: Harbourside Glamour

Located on the 28th floor of the One Peking building in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hutong serves up flavourful, heady Northern Chinese fare such as fish cooked in a Sichuan chilli pepper broth and lamb-and-scallion dumplings, in a setting inspired by this region and its charming hutongs. The Chinese antiques, metal-studded wooden doors, red lanterns and silk curtains are sure to impress overseas guests. Three dining rooms can be interconnected or kept as they are, allowing you to host a party for 12 or for 48. Set menus are available—including free-flow wine and other beverages. Hutong is also open to creating menus specially for the occasion.

Fish & Meat

Vibe: Urban Rustic

Located on Wyndham Street, Fish & Meat has a rustic French feel, with plenty of raw wood, concrete floors and mesh lanterns to give the space the look of a charming country home that’s in line with the fresh seafood, meat and homemade pasta served up by head chef Russell Doctrove. Fish & Meat has two private dining rooms that can each accommodate eight to 10 people, or a total of 16 to 20 if you combine them. The restaurant also features a bar area and a terrace, which is a great spot for partygoers to spill out onto as they enjoy an arrival cocktail. The in-house mixologist can even create original cocktails for special events.
