De Stijl Interior Design is a local brand founded by a group of experienced interior designers. Its team has extensive experience in creating multifunctional homes that balance aesthetics and practicality, maximising creativity within limited spaces.
Could you describe your design philosophy, and how it came about?
To create a unique design style, I do not impose limits on my designs. Unlike the typical “additive” design found in Hong Kong, our home design philosophy removes inconvenient furniture, meaningless functions, and expensive materials, retaining the true value of living for users. My father is an artist, and from a young age, under his influence, I began to engage with various forms of art and developed a strong interest in design and art, gradually discovering my ideals and talents.

A residential project at Grand Victoria I.
What's your go-to spot that inspires you the most creatively?
In addition to gaining significant inspiration from art books, I also attend design exhibitions and art fairs in different countries to immerse myself in local culture and styles. This allows me to deeply understand more unique elements and design philosophies, which become an important source of new creative inspiration for me.
What's next for your company?
We will expand into larger markets, allowing more people to recognise us, and gradually take on more commercial projects such as hotels and clubhouses.
