We aim to develop global design concepts that incorporate universal elements.
LittleMORE is an interior design firm founded in 2008 by Ada Wong and Eric Liu. It specialises in creating warm, personalised spaces, that reflect its clients' unique lifestyles. Its expertise spans residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, focusing on thoughtful design that enhances comfort and functionality.
Could you describe your design philosophy, and how it came about?
Our design philosophy centres on crafting warm and personalised environments that resonate with our clients' lifestyles and aspirations. This approach emerged from our belief that design should enhance everyday living, combining comfort, functionality, and joy. By manipulating space, light, colour, and texture, we create unique experiences tailored to each client.
Which project(s) are you most proud of this year?
This year, we are most proud of our project Wooden Lookout. This 460 square foot apartment was reimagined for a young couple with two cats, focusing on creating a multifunctional space that meets their needs for hosting and comfort. Our design maximised the high ceiling and natural light while incorporating a multifunctional wooden box that serves as a walk-in closet, make-up area, and guest space. The project has received notable recognition in various awards. Most importantly, the clients are thrilled with their newly transformed home!

What's your go-to spot in Hong Kong that inspires you the most creatively?
One of the go-to spots in Hong Kong that inspires our creativity is the Western District, particularly around Sai Ying Pun and Sheung Wan. This vibrant area is filled with a mix of art galleries, independent shops, and cultural events, creating a unique atmosphere that sparks innovation. The blend of traditional and modern architecture, along with lively street art, offers a rich backdrop for exploring new ideas.
Any future plans for the company?
We aim to develop global design concepts that incorporate universal elements, making our work adaptable to various cultural contexts. By offering virtual design consultations, we can collaborate with clients worldwide. Last year, we worked with an Australian client on a co-living development project featuring a compact floor plan with a flexible layout. Given our expertise in creating compact living spaces, we maximised space with multifunctional furniture and innovative storage solutions. This project showcased our ability to design efficient living environments, and we look forward to expanding our global impact further.
