Louis Vuittons menswear creative director Pharrell Williams has expanded into architectural design through the introduction of Drophaus, a “future living concept” presented at the A/W 2026 Paris runway.

Created in partnership with Shinji Hamauzus Tokyo-based Not a Hotel, the initiative reimagines contemporary living by merging innovation, craftsmanship, and cultural significance.

Displayed in a purpose-built space near Fondation Louis Vuitton, Drophaus draws inspiration from the elemental form of a water droplet, incorporating compressed glass walls that dissolve the distinctions between interior and exterior environments. Framed by Japanese-influenced terraces and abundant vegetation, the construction reflects Williams concept of enduring functionality.

The presentation also unveiled Homework, a furniture collection celebrating deliberate imperfections, strengthening the spaces character as a habitable environment. Models moved through the dwelling before proceeding along the grass-lined runway, supported by a live choral performance. The collection mirrored concepts of durability, with traditional menswear forms reinterpreted through innovative materials, including reflective technical yarns and crystal embroidery evoking water droplets.
