The famed interior designer has curated a selection of furniture and artworks against a pinkish backdrop in Phillips’ Spring 2021 Pantone project.
Spring 2021: Pantone 5015C by Joyce Wang
Phillips’ Pantone project, since inaugurated in 2019, have assembled a roster of 5 high-profile interior designers who mix and match furniture and art pieces in a series of exhibition inspired by the on-trend Pantone colour chosen by the designer helming the exhibition each year.
Spring 2021: Pantone 5015C by Joyce Wang
Based on the sulking pink palette, this year’s exhibition is titled “Spring 2021: Pantone 5015C by Joyce Wang”. An award-winning interior designer revered in luxury hospitality and residential design, Wang has created living vignettes by juxtaposing the furniture pieces and artworks against mouldings found in classical homes.

The crossover between artwork and interior designers is the brainchild of Phillips, the first auction house in Hong Kong that offers designer furniture sales. Demonstrating how art can be weaved into home decor, all the design items at the pre-sale exhibitions have achieved 100 percent sell-through rate every season in the auction house’s Hong Kong sales over the years.

Previously, Hong Kong-based award-winning designer, brand consultant and artist Alan Chan, Chinese female designer Li Nathan, Hong Kong and Singapore-based architect and designer Robert Cheng, as well as Hong Kong-based interior designer Alfred Lam were invited to curate the Pantone projects.
