Unknown Surface Studio has completed a 250-square-meter café in Bangkoks industrial Krungthep Kreetha district. The white structure stands on an open site along Soi Srinakarin–Rom Klao 19, finished in 2025.
The design takes cues from flowers growing on-site, translating radial symmetry into architectural form. The plan radiates outward from a central point, creating sunburst patterns that reference petal arrangements without literal representation. A squared exterior boundary frames the organic interior geometry.

Circulation follows a subtractive approach. Rather than adding corridors, the architects carved pathways through the structure, creating a gradual spatial reveal as visitors move through the café. These carved routes integrate planted zones, merging landscape and architecture.
The café negotiates between openness and definition. Its boundary-free site allows interaction with the surrounding environment, while the white volume provides clear spatial structure against the industrial context.
