Tour a Modern French-Tinged Retreat in LOHAS Park

A 1,521-square-foot seaview flat in LOHAS Park, Tseung Kwan O has been styled in a modern, pared-back aesthetic, with art-finish feature walls and a layered, no-main-light scheme. Soft, low-saturation tones set the mood, while subtle French-inspired details lend the home a quiet elegance for owners who prize quality living.

Created by Cynthia Chong of Hei Design Interiors, the LP10 residence builds on a modern minimalist language, carefully balancing design flair with day-to-day practicality. The palette of warm off-whites and pale greys is paired with concealed lighting and a warm, diffused glow instead of a single central fixture, shaping a visually gentle, soothing backdrop to daily life.

In the living and dining area, the focus is on openness and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. An electric fireplace at the entrance adds a gentle sense of warmth and occasion to the clean-lined interior. The living room layout is planned to capture both the sea view and natural light, keeping the space bright and airy, while the TV wall in textured decorative paint introduces depth and a quiet artistic note without overwhelming the room.

The master bedroom has been reworked by absorbing the adjoining smaller room to form a generous, double-sided open walk-in wardrobe, offering ample storage and display space and creating a smoother, more open flow in the private quarters.

The bathroom has also been thoughtfully upgraded. A bespoke integrated vanity in natural stone, enhanced with carefully placed lighting, highlights the richness of the material. The original built-in tub has been replaced with a freestanding chaise-style bath set in front of a large window, borrowing from luxury resort cues so the owner can soak while gazing out to sea.

By carefully tying the sea view to a calm interior language, the designer has used low-saturation hues, fluid circulation and refined, lightly French accents to create more than just a well-appointed modern home. It becomes a personal retreat where the owners can step away from the city’s noise and savour a slower, more considered way of living.
