Since 1936, when Giovanni Vittorio Bonaldo began working with metal, the Italian furniture maker has balanced tradition with change.
Over nearly 90 years, the company has worked with around 30 designers, each bringing their own style while maintaining a consistent approach. Rather than chasing trends, Bonaldo treats innovation as an ongoing process rooted in craft and materials.
The brands strength comes from this mix of different creative voices working toward a unified vision. What started as one mans metalwork has grown into a furniture company that sees its history not as something fixed, but as a foundation for continual improvement and new directions.
The Big Table by Alain Gilles demonstrates this through laser-cut steel legs that shift profile as you move around them, creating kinetic visual dialogue. Wooden or ceramic tops pair with coloured metal legs, or choose the unified hand-spatulated clay finish. Fixed or extending, it anchors a room without compromise.

Fabrice Berruxs Avant-Garde chair separates backrest and seat with a metal tube, the space between reducing visual mass whilst enhancing ergonomic support. His Youpi chair takes a different approach – a circular backrest flowing into a generous seat on a flared conical base, the whole form suggesting a stylized embrace.

Mauro Lipparinis Olos bed family interprets Nordic restraint through curved wood and elliptical headboards, available with higher frames, elevated backs or integrated storage. Giuseppe Viganòs Tara bed pursues essential geometry – rectangular volumes in varying proportions, a slender frame supporting a substantial upholstered headboard with leather detailing.

The Dune TV cabinets wavy wooden surface creates shifting light and shadow across open and closed sections, available in Canaletto walnut with bronze or carbon oak with lead, with optional integrated backlighting.
